HBOS Insurance and Investment was created by the merger of HBOS Financial Services (HBOS FS) and HBOS General Insurance (HBOS GI).
Trading through three brands - Halifax, Clerical Medical and Bank of Scotland – HBOS FS is the UK's market leader in life assurance, pensions, investments and bancassurance. In fact, we invest nearly £50 billion for almost two million customers – that's £1 in every £8 invested in the UK.
HBOS GI is one of the country's largest insurance providers, with over five million customers relying on our suite of insurance products including household, travel, healthcare, pet, mortgage protection and repayment protection products.
There's a broad spectrum of roles available in this division. We're talking about everything from sales and customer service to claims and project management; systems development and business analysis to risk assessment and investment accounting; and marketing and HR to capital management and re-insurance.
